Competitors will cover upwards of 3 miles a day.\nStages will incorporate additional tasks to challenge competitors both physically and mentally. \nIt is recommended that competitors have experience in this type of physical and mental competition.\nWe are expecting teams from Special Operation Units and some of the top civilian teams in the country. \nMatch Overview \n\n2 day match\n18-22 stages over one 3 mile course\nAll stages are blind. You will have to find\, range and engage targets within a time limit.\nTargets from 100-1200 yards\nPistol targets 0-100 yards\nAll rifle targets are steel\nMinimum Round count\n\n\n\n200 rifle\n200 carbine\n100 pistol per team member (200 total per team)\nIt is recommended to bring 500ish carbine due to high round counts. If your pistol falls out of the holster during any point in the competition that will result in a team DQ.\n\nAll equipment (with the exception of clothing and food/water) that the team wants to use at any point in the competition must be carried for the duration of the competition. \nAll gear must be off the ground (in your hands or bags) prior to time starting at any stage. \nCompetitors are responsible for ROing the team behind them and must be prepared to spot hits or misses. You must have good binos/spotting scope (binos strongly recommended) and a stopwatch \nScoring: \n\nScoring is based on a hit percentage system. Each stage will have a time limit. Each stage will be weighted equally. There will be an instructor and each range as well as a drill station for improving skills. \nYou may register for this event below for $40 per person or pay $50 per person at the gate the day of the event. DESCRIPTION:Ben Franklin Range presents\,\nA Victor Anderson & Amped Airsoft Event\nRevolution Series Scenario Game:\nThe Gunpowder Incident\nSaturday August 19\nGates open at 9am\nGame starts at 11AM\n  \n  \nBackstory: \nAfter the events of the Battle of Coercion in Templeton\, PA\, the Military began fighting within. Divided\, the 2 factions battled for territory\, and the battle raged on\, fighting for these key geographic locations.  Though they were now fighting each other\, they still both wanted to destroy the Revolutionaries\, who were an ever present thorn in their sides. The Revolutionaries Continued to fight the military as a whole\, attacking and collecting Key Intel pieces\, and hindering the Militaries hold on the territory. Who will win this battle? \n  \nTeams: \nMilitary Team A&B – Role – Fighting\, simple objectives\, 6 hours total gameplay for day. Kill or be killed. \nRevolutionaries – A more immersive Role\, groups of 10-12 players at a time will form a squad. They have 2 hours to complete their objective and traverse the field\, while battling the military with a more difficult and immersive rules set. Those purchasing Revolutionary Team Tickets will then play as Military A or B for the remainder of the day after their 2 hour mission is done. A mix of Airsoft and Terrain Race/Geocaching gameplay. \n  \nTeams & BDU Requirements: \nMilitary Team A: Green Based Camo (M81\, Multicam Tropic\, Marpat) \nMilitary Team B: Tan Based Camo – (Mulitcam\, Desert Tan\, AOR-1 or ACU) \nRevolutionaries: Anything. Arm Bands will be provided this will represent the revolutionaries using whatever they have on hand to use. \nArm bands will be used to delineate teams and help provide further Clarification. \n  \nSpawn/Medic Rules – Military Teams: \nAll Team Members can Buddy medic their team mates 1 time. After one revive\, that play must return to spawn to revive. When Hit a play must ‘Bleed out’ in place for 2 minutes prior to being healed or returning to spawn. \nNote: Revolutionaries Rules noted in Revolutionaries section of this Packet. \n  \nGeneral Rules/Info (Applies to all Factions): \n\nChrono limit\n\nRifleman – 1.6J with your weight BB – No Min Engagement Distance\nLMG (Military Only) 1.6J with your weight BB to a max of .36G – 30 foot engagement distance\nSniper/DMR – All factions (must be realistic Dmr or sniper platform) 2j with max .48g bb\, min engagement 100 feet – Side arm required.\n\n\nHpa tank fills will be available onsite\nFull seal googles are required\, lower mesh masks or some kind of mouth protection is recommended\, but not required.\nCall your hits.\nHelp newer players if you can.\nHave fun.\n\n  \nRevolutionary Team – Special Rules \nGear/Weapons – Limited Ammunition – What you can carry\, is what you get. Up to a max of 300 rounds total for the 2 hour mission. Ammo may be shared among the squad. \nNo LMGs will be used in the Revolutionary Squad \n  \nMedic Rules: \nRevolutionaries have a total of 5 Lives for the mission. If they lose all 5 lives\, they will be ‘evacuated’ to the spawn for medical attention. Prior to being evacuated another team member must stay with them until the medical team arrives\, then returned after being healed at the ‘medical facility’ (spawn) they will be dropped closely to their team for reinsertion into the mission. \nShot in Head/Face (Not Helmet) – player is down for 5 minutes\, you can only be revived from being shot in the head 1 time\, if shot in head more than once\, they will need to be ‘evacuated’.  \nShot in Head – Helmet – Knocked down\, this counts toward your 5 lives\, and you must remain stationary for 3 minutes. \nShot in plate carrier (if no plate carrier as part of your gear\, ignore this section\, Weighted plates or real recommended for realism.) Knocked down. This does not count toward one of your 5 lives\, but you must remain stationary for 2 minutes.  \nTorso/Neck – not covered by Plates – must be have medical care\, Tourniquet\, and bandage applied. Time limit is how long the tourniquet placement and bandaging takes. Bandage as if this was a real wound. (Do not Tourniquet the neck but place it across chest after removal of Carrier to simulate medical care). \nAppendages (Arms Legs\, Hands & Feet) – Tourniquet and Bandaging required. We aim to meet the audience where they are\, whether you are considering radio for the first time or you are an accomplished HAM\, corporate or LEO/MIL commo who wants to apply your skills in new ways to connect and support your local and distant communities.  This not a “HAM Prep” course though some topics contain some foundational HAM knowledge. \nCourse is being offered at a discount for its first-time offering. \nTOPICS AREAS: “Foundations of Practical Short Range Radio” \n\nContexts for short range radio use\, and why should you care\nTypical gear and setups for various contexts\nIntro to radio programming\nSome considerations and concerns with radio in the community\nExtended information as time permits\n\nClass is $60 per person including a pizza lunch on Saturday. \nCourse material will be classroom-based in the BF training facility\, starting at 9am and running to roughly 5pm. A refrigerator and microwave is available if bringing your own snacks.  A pizza lunch will be provided on Saturday. Dinner after the course is up to the participants\, but we can enjoy a local restaurant together on Saturday night and return to the facility for futher conversation\, video or checking out gear. \nLodging is available at BFR any of Friday\, Saturday or Sunday nights.  The instructor will stay on premise as well for continued opportunity to discuss the class or related topics. Lodging is $60 per night\, plus a once-per-stay $30 cleaning fee per person. \nThe Sunday following class is a range day at BF for the “Greyman Network” folks\, and radio class attendees are welcome to participate at the reduced rate of $30 for the range day.  Sunday will be open format pistol & rifle shooting and socializing with members of greyman. network and fans of Warrior Poet Society. \nAs time permits at the Foundations course we can begin to discuss other future course plans and some of those topics as well.  Future courses in this series will include medium-range/long-range/strategic comms and other topics similar to the following: \n“Advanced and Strategic Radio Topics” \n\nStrategic communication contexts\nNapkin Radio Physics\nMedium & Long Range radio uses\nInteresting and accessible equipment and software\nEncryption\nAccessible testing equipment & uses\nRelated non-technical skills\n\nABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR \nThe instructor has decades of professional experience as a digital innovator\, spanning the globe on land\, sea (global vessel tracking) and space (manned and unmanned space programs). His career has covered enterprise\, government\, military\, medical\, oil & gas\, trading\, startups\, and more. \nHe currently works in software development within the mobile and set-top consumer video industry\, an industry he first worked in at Apple\, and there is a good chance you have “his” software on your phone. With two degrees in Engineering\, he is not a formal HAM\, but programs the commercial radios for BF operations\, and engages in various other related projects. He is deeply interested in supporting and blending radio\, shooting\, and positive community-building groups in the BFR region and across our country.  In his free time he does things like teach this class\, supports and participates in various shooting/operator related events\, is active on https://greyman.network\, is active in church\, or hangs out with other long-time fans of Warrior Poet Society. \nPlease select ticket below for the Class \nAlso – Select individual night for lodging and select the one time cleaning fee per stay \nNo primitive camping available for this event \nPlease sign online waiver for lodging
