DESCRIPTION:Ben Franklin Range presents\,\nA Victor Anderson & Amped Airsoft Event\nRevolution Series Scenario Game:\nThe Gunpowder Incident\nSaturday August 19\nGates open at 9am\nGame starts at 11AM\n  \n  \nBackstory: \nAfter the events of the Battle of Coercion in Templeton\, PA\, the Military began fighting within. Divided\, the 2 factions battled for territory\, and the battle raged on\, fighting for these key geographic locations.  Though they were now fighting each other\, they still both wanted to destroy the Revolutionaries\, who were an ever present thorn in their sides. The Revolutionaries Continued to fight the military as a whole\, attacking and collecting Key Intel pieces\, and hindering the Militaries hold on the territory. Who will win this battle? \n  \nTeams: \nMilitary Team A&B – Role – Fighting\, simple objectives\, 6 hours total gameplay for day. Kill or be killed. \nRevolutionaries – A more immersive Role\, groups of 10-12 players at a time will form a squad. They have 2 hours to complete their objective and traverse the field\, while battling the military with a more difficult and immersive rules set. Those purchasing Revolutionary Team Tickets will then play as Military A or B for the remainder of the day after their 2 hour mission is done. A mix of Airsoft and Terrain Race/Geocaching gameplay. \n  \nTeams & BDU Requirements: \nMilitary Team A: Green Based Camo (M81\, Multicam Tropic\, Marpat) \nMilitary Team B: Tan Based Camo – (Mulitcam\, Desert Tan\, AOR-1 or ACU) \nRevolutionaries: Anything. Arm Bands will be provided this will represent the revolutionaries using whatever they have on hand to use. \nArm bands will be used to delineate teams and help provide further Clarification. \n  \nSpawn/Medic Rules – Military Teams: \nAll Team Members can Buddy medic their team mates 1 time. After one revive\, that play must return to spawn to revive. When Hit a play must ‘Bleed out’ in place for 2 minutes prior to being healed or returning to spawn. \nNote: Revolutionaries Rules noted in Revolutionaries section of this Packet. \n  \nGeneral Rules/Info (Applies to all Factions): \n\nChrono limit\n\nRifleman – 1.6J with your weight BB – No Min Engagement Distance\nLMG (Military Only) 1.6J with your weight BB to a max of .36G – 30 foot engagement distance\nSniper/DMR – All factions (must be realistic Dmr or sniper platform) 2j with max .48g bb\, min engagement 100 feet – Side arm required.\n\n\nHpa tank fills will be available onsite\nFull seal googles are required\, lower mesh masks or some kind of mouth protection is recommended\, but not required.\nCall your hits.\nHelp newer players if you can.\nHave fun.\n\n  \nRevolutionary Team – Special Rules \nGear/Weapons – Limited Ammunition – What you can carry\, is what you get. Up to a max of 300 rounds total for the 2 hour mission. Ammo may be shared among the squad. \nNo LMGs will be used in the Revolutionary Squad \n  \nMedic Rules: \nRevolutionaries have a total of 5 Lives for the mission. If they lose all 5 lives\, they will be ‘evacuated’ to the spawn for medical attention. Prior to being evacuated another team member must stay with them until the medical team arrives\, then returned after being healed at the ‘medical facility’ (spawn) they will be dropped closely to their team for reinsertion into the mission. \nShot in Head/Face (Not Helmet) – player is down for 5 minutes\, you can only be revived from being shot in the head 1 time\, if shot in head more than once\, they will need to be ‘evacuated’.  \nShot in Head – Helmet – Knocked down\, this counts toward your 5 lives\, and you must remain stationary for 3 minutes. \nShot in plate carrier (if no plate carrier as part of your gear\, ignore this section\, Weighted plates or real recommended for realism.) Knocked down. This does not count toward one of your 5 lives\, but you must remain stationary for 2 minutes.  \nTorso/Neck – not covered by Plates – must be have medical care\, Tourniquet\, and bandage applied. Time limit is how long the tourniquet placement and bandaging takes. Bandage as if this was a real wound. (Do not Tourniquet the neck but place it across chest after removal of Carrier to simulate medical care). \nAppendages (Arms Legs\, Hands & Feet) – Tourniquet and Bandaging required. This counts toward one of your lives. \nIf a Player loses all of their Lives\, they can then finish the time out as a Military Team Member\, if headcount allows\, they can be added to one of the other Revolutionary Missions later in the day if they survived less than 1 hour. \n  \nRevolutionaries Required Items List: \n\n4 Bandages\nTourniquet\nWatch/Timer for Bleed outs\nRadio\nHydration\nGood Footwear for hiking\nDead Rope – For Knots to track Death Count\n\n  \nREQUIRED FOR EVENT:\n\nSign online waiver prior to event – WAIVER ONLINE\nPre-register for event below $40/$20 per person – Depending on your team\nTicket sales at door will be $50/$30 per person – Depending on your team\nMust be 18 years old to play or accompanied by an adult

The class is not meant to be arduous in nature\, however students will be under load and moving for up to 8 hours at a time for unknown distances. The bulk of the class will be held outdoors\, and training will be conducted regardless of rain or shine\, heat or cold\, with an exception to extreme weather conditions (hurricane\, tornado\, brush fire\, flood\, blizzard). You will spend 1 or 2 nights SLEEPING in the field. The primary instructor will reach out 4 weeks and 2 weeks prior to all students via email for updates to weather and reminders about the packing list. \nPacking list: \nItems On The Body: \n\nPants and long sleeve shirt\, durable enough to withstand breaking through brush and briars. DESCRIPTION:The first in a family-friendly series of courses at BF aimed at enhancing community knowledge in short\, medium and long-range radio.  Whether your use case is a first set of family radios for off-grid hiking and camping\, increasing your neighborhood or community’s ability to respond to disasters\, or surving and thriving in the zombie apocalypse\, this radio series is for you. We aim to meet the audience where they are\, whether you are considering radio for the first time or you are an accomplished HAM\, corporate or LEO/MIL commo who wants to apply your skills in new ways to connect and support your local and distant communities.  This not a “HAM Prep” course though some topics contain some foundational HAM knowledge. \nCourse is being offered at a discount for its first-time offering. \nTOPICS AREAS: “Foundations of Practical Short Range Radio” \n\nContexts for short range radio use\, and why should you care\nTypical gear and setups for various contexts\nIntro to radio programming\nSome considerations and concerns with radio in the community\nExtended information as time permits\n\nClass is $60 per person including a pizza lunch on Saturday. \nCourse material will be classroom-based in the BF training facility\, starting at 9am and running to roughly 5pm. A refrigerator and microwave is available if bringing your own snacks.  A pizza lunch will be provided on Saturday. Scoring will be raw time plus penalties. Rifles\, SBRs\, MGs\, Braced Pistols\, Binaries\, PCCS\, and suppressors in all form factors are welcome. You are welcome to run one gun only but it will not contribute to the overall competition leaderboard. \nStages will be designed to allow the individual to stress their gear and mind in realistic scenarios. These stages will be set up in a competition setting where rules and restrictions are at a minimum. Any rules enforced are designed to maintain the integrity of realism for the stages. Safety is our number one priority\, you can go at your own pace.
