This will be in a flat range environment and is NOT a “live fire CQB” course. At the end of this course\, students will be able to accurately and rapidly engage targets with multiple rounds at CQB distances with rifle and pistol. \nDay 2: Intro To Flexible Search \nLearning the basic principles that drive all sound methodology\, and then working on individual methods of movement and working angles\, etc. Course is principles based and not on any one specific doctrine of clearance. Students will learn about multiple solutions to problems\, including Limited Penetration\, Strong Wall\, POD\, IBT\, and others. Students will start at the most basic repetition and work up to clearance of adjoined rooms\, with the ability to choose methods based on their environment and “mission”. Divided\, the 2 factions battled for territory\, and the battle raged on\, fighting for these key geographic locations.  Though they were now fighting each other\, they still both wanted to destroy the Revolutionaries\, who were an ever present thorn in their sides. The Revolutionaries Continued to fight the military as a whole\, attacking and collecting Key Intel pieces\, and hindering the Militaries hold on the territory. Who will win this battle? \n  \nTeams: \nMilitary Team A&B – Role – Fighting\, simple objectives\, 6 hours total gameplay for day. Kill or be killed. \nRevolutionaries – A more immersive Role\, groups of 10-12 players at a time will form a squad. They have 2 hours to complete their objective and traverse the field\, while battling the military with a more difficult and immersive rules set. Those purchasing Revolutionary Team Tickets will then play as Military A or B for the remainder of the day after their 2 hour mission is done. A mix of Airsoft and Terrain Race/Geocaching gameplay. \n  \nTeams & BDU Requirements: \nMilitary Team A: Green Based Camo (M81\, Multicam Tropic\, Marpat) \nMilitary Team B: Tan Based Camo – (Mulitcam\, Desert Tan\, AOR-1 or ACU) \nRevolutionaries: Anything. Arm Bands will be provided this will represent the revolutionaries using whatever they have on hand to use. \nArm bands will be used to delineate teams and help provide further Clarification. \n  \nSpawn/Medic Rules – Military Teams: \nAll Team Members can Buddy medic their team mates 1 time. After one revive\, that play must return to spawn to revive. If they lose all 5 lives\, they will be ‘evacuated’ to the spawn for medical attention. Prior to being evacuated another team member must stay with them until the medical team arrives\, then returned after being healed at the ‘medical facility’ (spawn) they will be dropped closely to their team for reinsertion into the mission. \nShot in Head/Face (Not Helmet) – player is down for 5 minutes\, you can only be revived from being shot in the head 1 time\, if shot in head more than once\, they will need to be ‘evacuated’.  \nShot in Head – Helmet – Knocked down\, this counts toward your 5 lives\, and you must remain stationary for 3 minutes. \nShot in plate carrier (if no plate carrier as part of your gear\, ignore this section\, Weighted plates or real recommended for realism.) Knocked down. This does not count toward one of your 5 lives\, but you must remain stationary for 2 minutes.  \nTorso/Neck – not covered by Plates – must be have medical care\, Tourniquet\, and bandage applied. Time limit is how long the tourniquet placement and bandaging takes. Bandage as if this was a real wound. (Do not Tourniquet the neck but place it across chest after removal of Carrier to simulate medical care). \nAppendages (Arms Legs\, Hands & Feet) – Tourniquet and Bandaging required. DESCRIPTION:Orion Training Group – Small Unit Sustainment – 5 Day \nDate & Time \nThu\, Jun 22 at 8:00 AM – Mon\, Jun 26 at 6:00 PM CST \n  \nDescription \n16 Total Spots \n8 Minimum Required \nTime Commitment: Five 10-12 hour days\, 1-2 days spent in the field. \nCourse Focus: to teach small unit patrolling for the fire team and squad level. Some topics to be covered will be movement techniques and formations\, patrol member duties\, signaling\, and contingency actions. This is not a land navigation class\, though we will briefly cover some topics on the subject. The class is not meant to be arduous in nature\, however students will be under load and moving for up to 8 hours at a time for unknown distances. The bulk of the class will be held outdoors\, and training will be conducted regardless of rain or shine\, heat or cold\, with an exception to extreme weather conditions (hurricane\, tornado\, brush fire\, flood\, blizzard). You will spend 1 or 2 nights SLEEPING in the field. The primary instructor will reach out 4 weeks and 2 weeks prior to all students via email for updates to weather and reminders about the packing list. \nPacking list: \nItems On The Body: \n\nPants and long sleeve shirt\, durable enough to withstand breaking through brush and briars. Bring 2 sets\, minimum.\nSocks\, calf high recommended. DESCRIPTION:Our NVG Baseline Operator Course focuses on the fundamental understanding of night vision & building the individuals skill sets with rifle & pistol under Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) The class will start with the psychology and benefits of employing NVGs as a force multiplier at night. You will then move into industry standards for gear selection and setup. This class will provide the student with the tools to safely & effectively move\, shoot\, and communicate in low-light/no-light environments. Students will participate in a crawl\, walk\, run approach while learning to utilize their equipment. By the end of class\, students will have progressed all the way through to a variety of movement and live-fire shooting exercises. The courses of fire are to produce a core competency with night vision goggles\, lasers\, and white light. DESCRIPTION:This 3 Day course focuses on the fundamentals of Close Quarters Battle and how to maximize your available personnel effectively in two\, three\, and four man teams. Students will begin their journey to better understand how to search and / or defend their current occupied structure during a multitude of realistic scenarios. Students will be introduced to the decision making process and learn how to identify whose “time line” they are on and  begin to understand how and when to change tempo and tactics as the situation changes or evolves. Students will leave with a deeper understanding of how to manipulate the situation to increase their survivability with common available resources. Students will greatly increase their operational capabilities and proficiency in terms of mitigating complex deadly force encounters while working within a team.
